Bimla Sagar was born on February 28, 1947 in the village of Fazilkah the Punjab region of India. She lived a life of service and faith as she was a devoted nurse for her entire professional career.

From the time she was a child she had an unwavering faith in the promises of Jesus, Son of God theMost High. She emigrated from India to the United States with her husband and son. Together They did their best at attaining what many would call the American dream. They did it together, through a large extended family in New York, Texas, California, Canada, India, Pakistan, Australia; truly a worldwide connection.

When Bimla was diagnosed with stage IV cancer; there was an immediate outpouring of love and support from her family, friends and church family. From the day she was diagnosed she had a childlike faith.

Bimla is survived by her numerous siblings, cousins, nieces, nephews, her husband, her son, her daughter-in-law, and her beloved grandchild. Though her ailing physical body has taken rest, her fiery spirit has ascended.  I will miss you more than you could ever understand mom.

I love you – Simon

“You are gone, you will be missed very dearly. You will always live in my heart. Thank you for everything you shared in my life, our memories will never go away from our lives. We came to this country, made our place and lived an exemplary life and God blessed us abundantly, as well as spiritually.

We can never say goodbye willingly but we have to say it with a sorrowful heart and I will miss you for all the time to come in my life. Bimla I am very happy that you are not in pain anymore and you are Abraham’s bosom. I am very happy where you are.

Thank you Bimla and it’s not easy to this…”
